PLAYGROUND SURFACING
Child Safety Guard - A wood mulch playground surfacing that provides a cost-efficient product for installing a safe playground medium. Also referred to as E.W.F. (Engineered wood Fiber), our playground surfacing is certified to meet I.P.E.M.A. strict parameters to conform with ASTM standards.
ANIMAL BEDDING
Delta Timber produces and supplies bulk animal bedding in two forms:
SAWDUST BEDDING
- Growing in popularity, bulk sawdust is available for delivery to the end user, or picked up at our location in Montrose, CO. Sawdust is more economical than wood shavings and its absorption characteristics are greater than shavings.
MULCH BEDDING
- Produced from re-ground and screened wood chips, our mulch bedding is absorbent and cushioned. The grinding and screening minimizes occurrence of splinters and produces a very consistent animal bedding medium.
SOIL AMENDMENTS/BLENDS
SOIL AMENDMENT- Our soil amendment consists of a blend of composted organic materials including bark fines and ground wood fiber mixed with some inorganic mineral soil. This is a great choice for improving your soils for gardens and lawn preparation.
SOIL CONDITIONER
- Our soil conditioner consists of blended and composted green waste (grass / leaves) blended and composted with wood particles to produce a rich humus product which is added to soil to improve the soil's physical qualities, usually its fertility (ability to provide nutrition for plants) and sometimes its mechanics . ... They can make poor soils more usable, and can be used to maintain soils in peak condition.

OIL AND GAS SUPPORT
BALED SAWDUST / LOST CIRCULATION MATERIAL (LCM) - Our baled LCM product is used in the oil and gas drilling industry and is described as follows:
•!• Our product is screened fine sawdust from pine and spruce. It is carefully isolated Our product is screened fine sawdust form pine and spruce. It is carefully isolated to keep oversize product out of the system.
•!• We compress approximately 5.5 cubic feet of loose product into a 3.1 cubic foot compressed bale in a polly bag.that will weigh generally between 40 -45 pounds.
•!• We stack 20 bales to a pallet and stack them 2 pallets high resulting in 40 bales per stack. We ship 24 or 26 stacks on a 48 foot flatbed (depending on destination and weight)
•!• The pallets are stretch wrapped for stability and then a poly cover is put over it and stretch wrapped again.
•!• Each stack of 2 pallets will weigh a little over 1,700 pounds.
ABSORPTION SAWDUST - This product is provided in bulk quantities delivered to your well site or supply yard. The product consists of small particle sawdust that is low in moisture content, thus improving its absorption characteristics. Truckload quantities are approximately 120 cubic yards and are delivered by li_ve-floor trailers that unload in approximately 10 minutes and in a concentrated pile.
